Mr Harshawardhan Godbole is a Consultant Urological and Laparoscopic Surgeon who qualified in 1990. He then did his urological training and then worked at the Bristol Urological Institute, Oxford Churchill Hospital and Guy's & St Thomas Hospital.

Godbole is the cancer lead and the MDT lead for the Department of Urology. Godbole is a trainer and has Specialist registrars, senior house officers, foundation trainees and medical students rotating through his unit. He is also an associate professor at the St George's University, Grenada.

Along with laparoscopic surgery, his other sub-speciality interests include benign and malignant disease of the kidney, bladder and prostate gland, incontinence and male infertility and sexual dysfunction.

Godbole was instrumental in offering endoscopic and laparoscopic urological services in The District General Hospital in Thane, Maharashtra, India, as a charity project, where he has successfully offered services over the last three years.

Mr Godbole has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at both national and international urological conferences.
