Marcellina Coker was appointed Consultant Obstetrician and gynaecologist 2003 at West Hertfordshire NHS Trust. She began her private practice in 2004. She is a Fellow of the Royal college of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Vice Chair of the NLG-RCOG and the Obstetric Clinical Director of her unit. Marcellina is also a beneficiary of the Harvard Business School Leadership training in Healthcare management with a passion of improving women's health globally through innovation and technology.Marcellina has a wide range of Obstetrics and gynaecological skills being the leading female Consultant in her unit. She runs fetal medicine services and high risk Obstetrics with particular interest and support for mothers who have experience fetal loss or poor outcomes.As a gynaecologist she has a one-stop approach to menstrual disorder with pelvic ultrasound and outpatient hysteroscopy happening same day were possible. Her interest also extends to pelvic pain and vaginal prolspae. Marcellina loves trekking and her most impactful trek has been Mount Kilimanjaro. Following Marcellina's footsteps is her 21 year old daughter Mimi who is studying Medicine.
