Miss Christine Robinson qualified from Cambridge University in 1982 and went on to complete further training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Sexual and Reproductive Health in London and Cambridge. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2002, as well as Fellowship of the Faculty Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare.
Miss Robinson established one of the first medical Gynaecology units in the UK in Luton, which won a Charter Mark for quality in 1998. She was president of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare between 2008 and 2011 and a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Council at this time. She is Member of the British Menopause Society and the Consultants in Sexual and Reproductive Health Society.
Miss Robinson has a great interest in the quality of care and has held regional and national posts with responsibility for clinical governance. She has taught extensively both in the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum. She has written numerous publications including those on clinical topics, particularly contraception, and clinical governance.
Miss Robinson was, until recently, a consultant at Guys and St Thomass NHS Foundation Trust and is now available for private patients at The Lister Hospital, London. She has a special interest in contraception, medical gynaecology particularly menopausal problems (including HRT), and well-woman screening.
She offers a holistic service combining aspects of medical gynaecology with sexual and reproductive health, producing an individualised tailored care for each patient.
