Mr Jonathan Lohn is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon, holding the FRCSPlast qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is based at St George's Healthcare NHS Trust and also sees patients privately, including at The Lister Hospital. After participating in the London training programme, Mr Lohn spent fellowship time at The Wellington Hospital in Cosmetic Surgery and the Royal Marsden Hospital, where he gained experience in cancer reconstruction. He then spent 15 months, also on fellowship, in Melbourne, Australia at the Royal Melbourne and Royal Women's Hospitals, where he gained further experience in complex cancer and post traumatic reconstruction as well as cosmetic surgery, under the tutelage of Professor Mark Ashton.
His areas of interest include mole removal, skin cancer, cosmetic surgery of the breasts and abdomen, hand surgery, lower limb surgery, amputation and abdominal wall reconstruction.
Mr Lohn trained in the UK on the London training programme, also spending fellowship time at The Wellington Hospital in Cosmetic surgery and The Royal Marsden Hospital in cancer reconstruction. He then spent 15 months on fellowship in Melbourne, Australia at the world renowned Royal Melbourne and Royal Women's Hospitals refining his skills in complex cancer and post traumatic reconstruction as well as cosmetic surgery under the tutelage of Professor Mark Ashton. In his current role, he performs complex cancer and post trauma reconstruction and is also a core member of the regional bone infection unit.
