    Mr Martin Klinke graduated from medical school in Frankfurt and received a master’s degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Nice.

    He completed his post-graduate orthopaedic training in Germany and at two major university teaching hospitals in Paris before undertaking a specialised foot and ankle fellowship at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore.

    Thereafter he worked in the Foot and Ankle Unit at the University Teaching Hospital in Basle, a world-leading centre for ankle joint replacements and a tertial referral centre for all major foot and ankle pathologies. For many years he worked at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital as the Senior Foot and Ankle Surgeon.

    Mr Klinke is now a full time Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the London Foot and Ankle Centre and he works at London Bridge Hospital, Chiswick Medical Centre and The Lister Hospital. He performs the whole spectrum of reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.

    Mr Klinke has a particular interest in hindfoot pathologies, ankle replacement surgery, sports injuries and forefoot disorders. He undertakes the whole spectrum of reconstructive foot and ankle surgery including ankle arthroscopy (key hole surgery), minimal invasive Achilles tendon repair and operative reconstruction of foot deformities. Martin Klinke is a member of the English, American, Swiss and German Foot and Ankle Society.
