Mr McCullough qualified from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) in 1996. Following his internship he was awarded a Teaching Scholarship from RCSI during which time he completed his Masters in Anatomy. After basic surgical training he was awarded a Post-Graduate Research Scholarship from Trinity College Dublin. After a year as a junior registrar in Wexford, Ireland he gained a position on the North East Thames Higher Surgical Training Scheme and on completion of training was awarded an Ethicon Laparoscopic and Pelvic Floor Fellowship at University College Hospital, London. Upon completion of his fellowship Mr McCullough was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon at UCH.
Mr McCullough has specialised in all aspects of Colorectal and Anal disease with a specialist interest in Surgery for Intestinal Failure, and Abdominal Hernias and Reconstruction of the Abdominal Wall. -
