Dr Eminowicz specialises in the treatment of gynaecological cancers (cervical, endometrial, vulval and vaginal) and the delivery of brachytherapy. She has a keen interest in complex targeted radiotherapy delivery using image guidance and adaptive techniques as well as the use of imaging biomarkers during chemo-radiotherapy. She was awarded a MD(Res) from University College London (UCL) in 2016 for her work on optimisation of cervical cancer radiotherapy. Since that time she has been a substantive consultant and brachytherapy lead initially at Imperial College Healthcare Trust and now at University College London Hospital. Alongside her clinical work she is a member of the NCRI Gynaecological Oncology CSG and a Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at UCL continuously working to develop her research portfolio.
Throughout Dr Eminowicz's career she has pursued her research interest completing a MSc at the Institute of Cancer Research then MD(Res) as UCL. This work has resulted in multiple oncology publications, the majority as first author, and numerous abstracts presented at National and International meetings. She has also written book chapters and review submitted oncology manuscripts for key oncology journals including Radiotherapy and Oncology, International Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology Physics, and Clinical Oncology. In her current post she is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at UCL and a member of the NCRI Gynaecological Oncology CSG. Dr Eminowicz works on clinical trials and collaborate internationally. She also runs a study investigating the role of PET-MRI in patients undergoing chemoradiation for cervical cancer and is a clinical radiation expert for a study on intraoperative radiotherapy for recurrent pelvic cancer. Alongside all of this she continues to develop trial proposals within pelvic radiotherapy, including using proton beam therapy.
