Dr Cleave Gass is a Consultant Anaesthetist at The Portland Hospital, and qualified from the University of Cape Town and trained in anaesthesia in London. Dr Gass has a special interest in obstetrics, and is also an Associate Medical Director and Director of Post Graduate Medical Education at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Dr Gass is an Educational Monitoring Associate for the GMC and an Assessor for the National Clinical Advisory Service.
Dr Gass holds a Master’s Degree in Medical Law and Ethics from the University of Glasgow and his published work includes book chapters on consent in labour and the Obstetric Analgesia and Anaesthesia, in the Oxford Handbook of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
