    Jenny Epstein graduated from Leeds University School of Medicine in 1997. She completed her clinical training at Chelsea and Westminster, King's College and The Royal London Hospitals. Her experience outside the UK includes fellowships at l'Hopital de l'Archet, Nice, France in 2001 and at Boston Children's and Massachusetts General Hospitals in 2007.

    She gained a PhD in Mucosal Immunology at Queen Mary University London in 2010, investigating the effects of curcumin in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in children.

    Jenny Epstein became a full time NHS Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in 2009 and has extensive clinical experience in the full breadth of gastrointestinal conditions and investigations including paediatric endoscopy and colonoscopy, in which she has 'Train the Trainer' qualification.

    Her special interests are IBD particularly the role of diet in Crohn's disease, eosinophilic oesophagitis and complex allergic gut disease. She is research active, leading several research studies, publishing within these fields and presenting work internationally.
