    Mr Gidon Ellis is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at The Wellington Hospital, part of HCA UK. He has a broad general urology practice and has subspecialist interests in the ureteroscopic management of kidney stones, HoLEP (laser prostate surgery) for BPH/LUTS (benign prostatic hyperplasia/lower urinary tract symptoms) and the endoscopic management of bladder and upper tract (ureter & kidney) urothelial cancers. Mr Ellis' NHS practice is at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust where he is a core member of the bladder cancer, renal cancer and kidney stone multi-disciplinary teams.

    Mr Ellis ranked first in the UK National Selection process in 2012 and completed his higher urological training in North London. At the conclusion of his training he spent a year working at the Institute of Urology, University College London Hospitals subspecialising in endourology and the treatment of kidney stones. He received The Urology Foundation Endourology Travelling Fellowship Award. After completing his specialist training, Mr Ellis undertook a Fellowship position at Luton and Dunstable Hospital. Here he subspecialised in laser prostate surgery (HoLEP), for the management of voiding difficulties and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men.

    Mr Ellis has also served as a faculty member on both national and international workshops and masterclasses in kidney stone management and HoLEP surgery.
