    Dr Rina Mehrotra grew up in New Zealand, and got her MBChB from Otago Medical School in 1990. She came to London and begun anaesthetic training at St Mary's in Paddington. She got her FRCA in 1997 and completed her CSST in anaesthesia in 2002 through the North Thames rotation. She has been lucky enough to work as a consultant in both New Zealand and London, and has been in post at Guy's & St Thomas' since 2005. Her interests are regional anaesthesia, difficult airways, blood transfusion and cell salvage.
