Dr Philip Borg is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist, and the departmental lead for ultrasound at The Christie Hospital.
Dr Borg graduated from University of Malta in 2006 and started training Clinical Radiology in Sheffield in 2009. He published the bestselling textbook ‘Radiological Anatomy for FRCR part 1' in 2010 and 2nd edition in 2014. He was admitted as a Fellow of Royal College of Radiologists in 2012 and completed a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Christie Hospital in 2014. He was appointed a Consultant Radiologist at the Manchester Royal infirmary in 2014 before being appointed as a Consultant in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the Christie in 2017.
His main subspecialty interests are biliary, gastrointestinal, urology image guided intervention and ablation of liver and lung tumours.
