    Dr Tony Elliott graduated from Edinburgh University in 1993. He trained as a Clinical Oncologist in Edinburgh, with accreditation from the Royal College of Radiologists in 2001. Subsequently he was awarded a MRC Clinical Research Fellowship to investigate mechanisms of cancer resistance to chemotherapy and radiotherapy. This culminated in the award of a PhD in 2008. Dr Elliott was appointed as a Consultant Clinical Urological Oncologist at The Christie in 2007.

    Dr Elliott's interests are in prostate/bladder/kidney/ureteric/penile cancers treating patients with radiotherapy (external beam and brachytherapy), chemotherapy and hormone therapy. Dr Elliott is the Lead Clinician for Clinical Research Trials in the Urology Team. He is also a member of the National Cancer Research Institute’s Hormone Resistant Prostate Cancer Group, Penile Cancer Group and Bladder Cancer Chemotherapy Group.
