    Dr Panos Kottaridis is a consultant haematologist in leukaemia and bone marrow transplantation. Since 2004 he has lead the AML/myelodysplasia/CML service at the Royal Free Hospital.
    His main academic and clinical interests focus on prognostication of AML, haemato-oncology, bone marrow transplantation, and the late effects of chemotherapy and bone marrow transplantation.

    Dr Kottaridis is a core member of the AML working party of the National Cancer Research Institute and has published more than 65 papers in peer reviewed journals. His work has been cited by more than 3000 scientific papers and Dr Kottaridis has delivered talks as a guest speaker or presenter in national and international meetings.

    He has always been an enthusiastic teacher and for the last 6 years has been in charge of the undergraduate teaching programme at The Royal Free Campus of UCL Medical School.
