  Having qualified in Dublin in 1994, I did my radiology training in Barts and the London NHS trust and completed training with a fellowship in body imaging at Sunnybrook Hospital, a specialist oncology and emergency imaging centre, and part of the University of Toronto, from 2002-2003. I then worked in Barts and the London as a Consultant Radiologist, special interest abdominal imaging, for 8 years where I was radiology lead for the colorectal and upper GI MDTs, radiology lead for colorectal screening and lead of CT, and after a short spell in Waterford, Ireland I am now working in the Royal Free Hospital as a Consultant Radiologist with special interest in GI and hepatobiliary imaging. My areas of interest include bariums, ultrasound, CT including enterography and colonography, and MRI including enterography, fistula imaging and MRCP, and I am also experienced in a variety of interventional procedures including fine needle aspiration, biopsy and drain placement. I have lectured at national and international meetings and have authored and co-authored several peer reviewed publications and book chapters.
