Dr Mina Savvidou is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine with particular interest and professional expertise obstetrics ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis.
After graduating from Aristotles Medical University in Greece in 1992, Dr Savvidou continued her medical career in the UK, where she trained extensively in multiple different major teaching hospitals. Her first Obstetrics and Gynaecology training post was in the North West London Deanery, after which, in 1998, she was awarded with a Membership at the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. In 2007, Dr Savvidou was granted her Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, after completing further subspecialty training in Fetal and Maternal Medicine at King’s College Hospital. On top of her clinical training, Dr Savvidou has an extensive background in research and obtained a MD degree from the University of London in 2004.
Dr Savvidou has extensively studied both normal and abnormal pregnancy, and her wealth of experience allows her to deliver high quality healthcare to her patients built upon a strong evidenced-based foundation. She firmly believes in putting the wishes and needs of the parents-to-be at the heart of all decision making throughout their pregnancy journey.
