    Following accreditation, Dr Laasch undertook a four-year fellowship in interventional gastrointestinal radiology and endoscopy. He is the lead for the national multidisciplinary Registry of Oesophageal Stenting and a faculty member of the Royal College of Radiologists, as well as two national and two international specialist societies. His department is a reference site for three device manufacturers.
