    Greg Wilson is a Consultant Medical Oncologist based at HCA The Christie Clinic in Manchester. His interests are breast and colorectal cancer with a particular interest in metastatic disease and patients with liver metastases. As lead clinician for liver directed therapies, Dr Wilson provides The Harley Street Clinic with an advisory and visiting clinical service and works closely with consultant oncology, surgery and radiology colleagues to provide liver directed therapies for patients of the Harley Street Clinic and The London Oncology Clinic., Dr Wilson qualified from Glasgow University in 1988. He worked both in the UK and Australia at junior doctor level and did a period of specialist oncology training in Sydney in the mid-1990s. Dr Wilson returned to the UK as a specialist registrar in Leeds before moving to The Christie in Manchester in 2002 as a consultant. As lead clinician for liver directed therapies, he advises on Selective Internal Radiation Therapy (SIRT) (see www.sirtex.com), Chemotherapy Saturation of the liver (ChemoSat – see www.Delcath.com) and DC beads for tumours in the liver. He is a member of the breast and gastrointestinal disease groups of The Christie Hospital and as such takes an active role in the recruitment of patients onto national and international clinical research trials of newer regimens of treatment and new anti-cancer drugs.
