    Dr Maniyar is a consultant neurologist based at two prestigious NHS Hospitals. He sees patients with all types of neurological problems. He has a special interest in headache of all types including migraine, tension type headache, post traumatic headache, neck pain, facial pain, cluster headache and the more rare variety of headaches. He is also adept at dealing with dizziness, epilepsy, faints and falls, functional symptoms, tremor, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, dementia etc.

    Dr Maniyar has won several awards for his research work in migraine. The most notable was the Harold G Wolff Lecture Award 2013 by the American Headache Society considered to be the most prestigious in headache research. He has started specialist headache clinics on the NHS at the Royal London and Basildon Hospitals.

    He has published widely in esteemed international journals. He is a reviewer for several international journals. He has delivered lectures both nationally and internationally. He is actively involved in teaching, particularly GPs on topics that are commonly seen in general practice like headache and epilepsy.
