    Mr Panayi is a Consultant Gynaecologist and an accredited Subspecialist Urogynaecologist. He holds a number of senior posts, including clinic leads at NHS and private clinics. He has presented at national and international meetings, has been involved in the organisation of national conferences, and is actively involved in training of new urogynaecology consultants as the regional training supervisor for South London.

    He is a consultant at Epsom and St. Helier Hospital, London after completing his subspecialist training at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust where he also completed his medical degree.

    He practises urogynaecology and management of women’s pelvic floor disorders to a tertiary level including medical and surgical management of complex conditions. He is also responsible for setting up the perineal clinic service at St. Helier’s Hospital which assesses and manages women who have sustained serious childbirth injuries.

    Mr. Panayi has conducted research into the investigation and management of female urinary incontinence, prolapse and chronic vaginal and bladder pain syndromes. He has a particular interest in bladder, urethral and vaginal pain syndromes, and recurrent urinary tract infection.

    Mr. Panayi is a member of the British Society of Urogynaecologists and a member of the training Sub-Committee, United Kingdom Continence Society, International Continence Society, International Urogynaecological Association and International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
