    Dr Virinder Sidhu is currently Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine at The Harley Street Clinic and Consultant Anaesthetist and Honorary Senior Clinical lecturer at Imperial College Healthcare. He qualified from the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff and trained in General (internal) Medicine and then Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in London. He was Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine at St Mary's Hospital for 14 years.

    Dr Sidhu has been advisor to the National Confidential Enquiry into Peri-Operative Deaths (NCEPOD) in adults and children, Royal College of Anaesthetist Tutor in Anaesthesia, Imperial College Undergraduate Examiner and Royal College of Anaesthetist Consultant advisory appointments committee representative. His clinical interests include difficult airway management, cardiac intensive care, transoesophageal echocardiography (USA Board Certification) and thromboelastography. He is a member of the Intensive Care Society, the Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthetists and the Royal College of Physicians.
