His practice in academic specialist hospitals in South Africa and the United Kingdom has given him a wide range of clinical experience in both adult and paediatric dermatology.
Apart from managing general dermatological conditions, Dr Morar's interests include the management of eczema, psoriasis, acne, infections, moles and skin cancer.
The skin is the largest organ in the body and several medical conditions often present for the first time on the skin. Studies have shown that dermatological conditions can be as distressing as having cancer and as such, treatment needs to be timely and effective. Fortunately, there have been several recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of skin disease. Dermatological diagnosis and treatment is an art that requires a combination of knowledge and experience. Dr Morar strives to translate these attributes to the bedside to provide a comprehensive service to his patients. -
