Dr Mark Rosenthal graduated in 1981 with honours, achieving distinctions in paediatrics, surgery and pathology and winning six under-graduate prizes. He attained his postgraduate diploma, Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians in 1984 and in 1990, the Royal College of Physicians accredited Dr Rosenthal as paediatrician with a special interest in neonatal medicine.

In 1996, he was appointed Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and in 1999, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. 

Dr Rosenthal is a consultant in paediatric respiratory medicine at Royal Brompton Hospital and specialises in all children's chest problems, cough, food allergies and sleep disorders.  

In addition to his busy practice, Dr. Rosenthal is active in the field of research as has been published widely as well as being invited to speak at a number of national and international conferences.
