    Dr Leschziner works as a consultant neurologist at London Bridge Hospital, the Cromwell Hospital and within the Department of Neurology and Sleep Disorders Centre at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals. He is clinical lead for the Sleep Disorders Centre, Guy's Hospital, one of Europe's largest sleep units, and Reader in Neurology at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King's College London.

    He has published over sixty peer-reviewed scientific publications. He is neurology section editor for "Principles and Practice of Sleep Medicine" (Elsevier), and editor of the forthcoming Oxford Handbook of Sleep Medicine (Oxford University Press).

    His major non-clinical interest is public education and engagement. He is author of "The Nocturnal Brain: Nightmares, Neuroscience and the Secret World of Sleep" (Simon and Schuster, 2019), presenter of "Mysteries of Sleep" and "The Compass: The Senses" (BBC Radio 4 and World Service), "Secrets of Sleep" for Channel 4, and "Sleeping...with David Baddiel" (Audible).
