Anna is a founding member of the International Society for Infectious Diseases in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. She has additional training in vaginal microscopy, attending an international course in the Microscopy & Diagnosis of Vulvo - Vaginitis, successfully passing the exam in vaginal microscopy.

A senior, experienced Consultant, in the NHS she had lead roles for Quality of Care, Young People and Women's Health. This followed specialist NHS work in Genitourinary Medicine and HIV, at University College, St Mary's and The Hillingdon Hospitals. Anna qualified at Charing Cross & Westminster Medical School. During her studies, she won a Wellcome Scholarship to study for an additional degree in the History of Medicine.
