    Dr Chiribiri is a Consultant Cardiologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, where he is the Clinical Lead for Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Reader in Cardiovascular Imaging at King’s College London..

    After qualifying in Medicine with honours from the University of Turin in 2001, Dr Chiribiri trained in Cardiology at the University of Turin and in advanced cardiac imaging and cardiac MRI at the German Heart Institute Berlin. Dr Chiribiri completed his training in Cardiology (CCT) in 2006 and obtained a PhD in Experimental Medicine and Human Physiology in 2011 at the University of Turin whilst working as Clinical Research Fellow in Cardiovascular Imaging at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust..

    He was appointed as Senior Lecturer in Cardiovascular Imaging at King’s College London and Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust Foundation in 2013. Since August 2013, Dr Chiribiri is the clinical lead for cardiac MRI at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust Foundation..

    Dr Chiribiri has an active research program in cardiac imaging, with more than 140 peer reviewed publications, several book chapters and several ongoing large research grants. He regularly lectures both nationally and internationally.
