Dr Rasha Al-Qurainy is a Consultant in Symptom Control and Palliative Medicine. She is based at the University College London Hospital (UCLH) but also performs private work at a number of clinics. She specialises in treating patients with complex pain encountered with cancer and non-cancer diagnoses.

She was awarded a postgraduate degree from King's College, London in 2010 and completed specialist consultancy training in 2012. Following this she was became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians London in 2016.

Dr Al-Qurainy is the Clinical Governance Consultant Lead for her department at UCLH and is a Sector Lead for Specialist Palliative Medicine with Health Education England. She is also an accredited BMA negotiator and sits on the Trust's BMA Local Negotiating Committee. She has been published numerous clinical reviews in the British Medical Journal and has also co-written PANG national guideline revisions.
