Lorraine joined HCA in 2008, and has 27 years of nursing experience. In her current role as Chief Nursing Executive, she is responsible for nursing and clinical collaboration, patient experience, nursing career ladders and advancement of nursing leadership and development.
Prior to this, Lorraine worked as Chief Nursing Officer and Governance Manager at The Harley Street Clinic and, most recently,as Director of Clinical Services for HCA UK. She is a transplant nurse by background, and before joining HCA UK she worked in operational and governance positions both within the NHS and the private sector at St James in Leeds, St Bartholomew's, Nuffield Health, and most recently, in Kingston University Hospital where she commissioned the acute medical assessment unit.
