Our expert team

Throughout your treatment you’ll have seamless and collaborative care from a team that covers all of your needs, including: specialist consultants, clinical nurse specialists, experienced nurses, radiographers, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.

As a part of HCA UK, our team consists of specialists who are continuously working to advance care and pioneer new techniques. We can perform coronary revascularisation for patients who had previously inoperable conditions, and minimal access cardiac surgeries that reduce trauma for a speedier recovery. Consultants in our network even used the world’s first radiation-free ablation to treat an irregular heartbeat.

Our cardiac multidisciplinary team meets regularly to share knowledge and determine the best treatment plans for even the most complex conditions.

Your treatment pathway

On your first visit, you’ll see an expert consultant who specialises in cardiac care. They’ll review your symptoms, arrange any necessary tests and scans and discuss your results with you either on the same day or at a follow up appointment. Based on your results they'll then recommend the best treatment options available to you.

Testing, diagnostics and medical management

Our cardiology consultants provide the latest tests and scans to diagnose your symptoms as well as the treatment and medical management of cardiac conditions. We fit implantable devices such as pacemakers and can monitor inherited conditions.

Interventional cardiology

If your consultant determines you need interventional treatment, we can perform minimally invasive procedures such as angioplasty (stents) and ablation, unblocking arteries or inserting aortic valves through arteries in the groin or arm.

Cardiac surgery

If surgery is required for valve, vessel or structural repairs, we offer a wide range of procedures using minimal access techniques (through smaller incisions, often between the ribs) or open sternotomy when required.
