Why choose HCA?
HCA has some of the highest survival rates and best patient outcome data in the UK. Its hospitals are virtually MRSA-free, with an infection rate nearly six times lower than other London hospitals. HCA was the first private UK hospital group to allow comparison with national outcome standards and the group’s hospitals exceed national standards of care in areas including intensive care survival and cardiac bypass surgery.
HCA has internationally recognised Centres of Excellence for cardiac care, neurology (brain and spine injuries), obstetrics, paediatrics, IVF and fertility, and runs the largest and most advanced private cancer network in London. Many of HCA’s consultants and specialists come from London’s leading teaching hospitals, providing world-class treatment and cutting-edge insights into their specialist areas. Last year alone HCA spent more than £70m on new equipment and facilities to ensure that patients receive the very latest treatments, therapies and drugs. Each hospital boasts a higher ratio of intensive treatment and high-dependency beds than any other private hospital in the capital. As a result of its commitment to innovative medicine and compassionate care, HCA hospitals have become the private hospitals of choice for acute and tertiary care in London.
