Mr Luca Sabatini is an experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecological Surgeon and a Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (RCOG) accredited Specialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. He is an expert in advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) and hysteroscopic surgery for the treatment of endometriosis, fibroids, uterine adhesions, ovarian cysts, tubal surgery and other benign gynaecological conditions. He has clinical and academic interests in both male and female infertility and gynaecological-endocrinological problems such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, menstrual disorder and menopause. He has expertise in gynaecological ultrasound. He is a RCOG and British Fertility Society preceptor in gynaecological ultrasound and management of early pregnancy complications, including recurrent miscarriage.Mr Sabatini consults at The Princess Grace Hospital and works closely with a team of anaesthetists, urogynaecologists, general surgeons, pain specialists and specialist nurses to provide treatments that are individually tailored to each patient.Mr Sabatini's NHS practice is at St Bartholomew's Hospital where he is the Clinical Lead at the Centre for Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. There he runs highly specialised female and male infertility clinics and gynaecology-endocrinology clinics. He has established a popular male infertility clinic and provides regular surgical sessions for open and keyhole female pelvic and vaginal surgery and testicular surgery for male infertility. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Queen Mary University of London and actively contributes to both undergraduate and postgraduate education. He is a member of the Barts & The London Clinical Research Board and is the Women's Health Clinical Academic Unit Research Lead. He runs European research projects on reproductive medicine and clinical trials.He publishes widely in the field of infertility and is a reviewer for many international scientific journals and acts as an advisor to pharmaceutical industries and media companies.
