Dr Stuart Rosen was educated at Cambridge and London Universities, with higher training in adult cardiology at Charing Cross, Hammersmith and St Marys Hospitals, London. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (London), the European Society of Cardiology and the American College of Cardiology.Dr Rosen has broad clinical expertise in general adult cardiology, with particular interests in heart failure, syncope and autonomic nervous system function and medico-legal aspects of cardiovascular disease. His current research interests include the London Life Sciences Prospective Population (LOLIPOP) Study - Heart failure platform (Co-principal Investigator with Professor JS Kooner), and the role of the autonomic nervous system in the patho-genesis of cardiac disease.Dr Rosen is active in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, examinations and supervision of doctoral theses, and has a publication record which includes 55 papers in peer review journals as well as 2 books and several book chapters. He has acted as a reviewer for 17 major professional journals.
