Dr Dominic Piers Scott Rogers
MA, MD, MRCP
Pacemakers & Defibrillators including Biventricular Pacing; Coronary Intervention; Heart Failure
I qualified from medical school at Cambridge University in 1997 before moving to London. My specialist Cardiology training took place at St Bartholomew's and The Heart Hospital, UCLH, after which I was appointed as a Consultant at the Royal Free Hospital where I am the Clinical Lead for arrhythmias and devices. I manage adult patients with all types of cardiac problems including heart failure, angina, palpitations, and hypertension with specialist interests in the fields of complex devices (Pacemakers and Defibrillators, including biventricular devices, or cardiac resynchronisation therapy) and coronary intervention (angioplasty and stenting). I have performed and published research on many topics including Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy and am a reviewer for several medical journals. I regularly lecture to undergraduates, post-graduates, GPs and to international audiences on all aspects of cardiology, including arrhythmias, heart failure, devices and ischaemic heart disease.
