Mr Mario Petrou graduated from University College Hospital and Middlesex School of Medicine prior to completing a PhD in cardiac surgery. He undertook his cardiothoracic training at the London Chest Hospital, Papworth Hospital in Cambridge and Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust. He also spent some time at Imperial College's National Heart & Lung Institute researching cardiothoracic surgery.Mr Petrou currently works at the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust where he is Co-Director for surgical transplantation. He is a regular contributor to professional journals and publications.
