Mr Barry Maraj is a Consultant Urological Surgeon based at the Whittington Hospital NHS Trust and Honorary Senior Lecturer at UCL and Royal Free University. He is the Laparoscopic Urological Surgeon at the Whittington Hospital and mentor for the Caribbean Urology Association (CURA).

He completed his medical training in 1987 at the Glasgow Medical School. Mr Maraj strongly beieves in the value of research and innovation in the medical field. This is demonstarted by a close research association with Professor James Malone-Lee in the assessment and management of lower urinary tract disorders. Several papers have been published by him regarding the use of anti-wrinkle injections for bladder complaints. He research work is also associated with the Royal Free Hospital on topics such as nanotechnology and prostate cancer.
