Mr Muhammad Khan is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust London which is one the most prestigious and largest teaching hospitals in the United Kingdom. The Robotic Radical Cystectomy programme established by Mr Khan and his colleagues at Guy's Hospital is the only programme of its kind in the United Kingdom. It is recognized internationally as one of the largest programmes in the world with excellent results. Mr Khan and his colleague have also introduced, established and evaluated use of botulinum toxin-A in the United Kingdom. The randomised trial conducted by the team is the first in the world, and was completed at Guy's and published in June 2007. The team is currently involved in international clinical trials and a single centre randomized trial in the treatment of sensory urgency.
