Dr Nigel Kellow qualified from the Royal Free in 1985. After training in pain medicine and anaesthesia in Oxford, Cambridge, London, and Paris he was appointed Consultant at St Batholomews and the Royal London Hospitals in 1996. While working as a full-time NHS teaching hospital Consultant he studied for and was awarded an MBA from the London Business School, where his particular interest was healthcare management. He has been in full-time private practice since 2002.His special interests are the minimally invasive treatment of problems caused by degenerative spinal disease including disc herniation, radiculopathies, spinal stenosis, and vertebral body fractures. He is also interested in the treatment of neuropathic pain, and palliative treatments for cancer pain.
