Mr Shane Duffy originates from Western Ireland. He qualified at Guys and St Thomas' Hospitals, University of London. After gaining membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, he studied for a Masters in Tropical Medicine and International Health. Following postgraduate training in London, he specialised in the field of female pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, minimal access surgery, early pregnancy and gynaecology ultrasound. Mr Duffy works both nationally and internationally and provides a comprehensive practice, incorporating all areas of gynaecology. Through his experience he has developed advanced surgical skills. He has published scientific papers in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology and regularly lectures at national and international scientific meetings.Within his NHS post at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Mr Duffy provides a one stop gynaecology service. This practice incorporates gynaecology and early pregnancy ultrasound, management of ovarian cysts, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, minimal access surgery, pelvic floor dysfunction, female incontinence and well woman checks.
