    Mr. Roberto P Casula is a Consultant Cardiothoracic surgeon at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London. Roberto has been a consultant for over 10 years having graduated at Padova University Medical School, Italy in 1989 and then trained in The UK in Cardiothoracic Surgery and Thoracic Organs Transplantation. Mr. Casula maintains full registration with the GMC (no.: 4003801).

    Mr. Casula has operated on several thousand cardiac patients since performing his first open heart operation in 1990. He is a pioneer in both robotic-enhanced and minimal access cardiac surgery in The UK and is responsible for the robotic cardiac surgical clinical program for the Imperial College. He remains the only practicing robotic cardiac surgeon in the UK.
