Andrew Sawczenko

Dr Andrew Sawczenko is a Consultant Paediatrician with more than 20 years of clinical experience across the full spectrum of children’s medicine. He trained in London and completed specialist training at leading centres including Great Ormond Street Hospital, Barts Hospital, Bristol Children’s Hospital, and Birmingham Children’s Hospital. He is among a small number of consultants in the UK to hold dual specialist accreditation in both General Paediatrics and Paediatric Gastroenterology.

Dr Sawczenko manages a wide range of paediatric conditions, from common childhood illnesses to the assessment and treatment of rare and complex presentations, working in collaboration with sub-specialists where required. His clinical expertise covers allergies, headaches, fits and epilepsy, developmental neurological conditions, eczema and other skin problems, nutrition and weaning, constipation, diarrhoea, reflux, abdominal pain, growth concerns, feeding disorders, food intolerance, asthma, wheezing, coughs, colds, recurrent infections, urinary infections, bedwetting, sleep problems, psychological issues, and vaccinations.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Sawczenko is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College London and is a member of both the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. He has published research in leading medical journals and has contributed to national and international clinical guidelines.
